So much of the enjoyment of Christmas is watching kids open and start playing with their new toys.  There are so many toys to choose from, and if you’re not ‘in the know’ about the best and latest and trendiest toys, then it can be really hard to know which ones to buy.  The worst way to find out what is the most popular is to discover that the stores have sold already sold out before you get there.

Following are some favorite toys that are always a popular choice that you can’t go wrong with.

Spike The Ultimate Dinosaur
Also known as Spike the Ultra Dinosaur, this is a fantastic remote controlled giant dinosaur from Fisher-Price Imaginext.  With a cool remote control unit that is easy for young children to use, the whole family will have a great time making friends with Spike! …My son is almost 4, and he is able to use the remote pretty well in making Spike do what he wants him to do. Unfortunatley, my 38 year old husband keeps hoarding the remote! This is a great entertainment piece if you have friends over, and I am sure this will be one toy that is not simply played with for five minutes and then tossed aside…

Transformers Bumblebee
The Transformers movies made new stars out of the famous comics, the Transformers.  The favorite Transformer of all was Bumblebee, the personal bodyguard of Sam (Shia Lebouf) as well as being a fantastic yellow Chevrolet Camaro when transformed.  The Transformers Bumblebee action figures are always popular and with the pending third Transformers movie release, interest will grow even more! Bananagrams
Bananagrams is a fabulous, fast and fun word game that’s fun for the whole family.  It doesn’t require pencils, paper or a board.  If you have a table then you can play! One hand can be played in as little as five minutes so kids don’t get bored. It is a great for family fun as well as being educational. The Bananagrams game is really portable which makes it perfect for travel – just grab the pouch and go.  Good for ages 7 & up. to play the game players use tiles to create words crossword-style.
